Why shoes are important for your health

Foot health is one of the main keys for a our overall health.
We might think about the obvious reasons such as preventing discomfort from flat feet, reducing joint pressure or avoiding hammertoes bunions and blisters. However these are not the only points, even tho they are the most recognizable at first impression.
Our feet are the ending point for all our nervous system, I am sure you have heard about the fact that some physiotherapists/chiropodists can determine problems in different areas of the body examining our trigger points of pain on our feet.
This is not just an hypothesis it is something recognized and broadly studied by many experts in the human body, and because of it the question comes of our mind, why don't we pay enough attention to our shoewear?
We spend the majority of our time over the support offered by our shoes as being barefoot in a daily basis is not an option outside home, but at the same time we prefer not to invest the large amount of money that some brands set to their revolutionary shoes without, at times, ignoring the main points which makes a shoe healthy for our feet.
What are these points?
- Wide platform without constraining our toes to respect our natural foot shape
- Proper relation cushion-stability sole. If the shoe is too soft on your steps your joints might tend to an instability which could lead to an injury and if the sole is too firm your joints will be constantly absorbing the impacts of your steps which may lead to the same situation.
- Shoe's material for a proper transpiration of the skin.
Those are the keypoints where The Work (?) Shoes wanted to emphasized in order to make a comfortable product that can be worn in any situation with the target of the jobs we need to spend our lives for a considerable amount of time, without fancy stuff to keep the prices as cheap and affordable as possible.
We kindly ask you to give us a small hope to notice your day at your job (waiter, cashier, flight attendant or even office job) can be much more comfortable than you think with us. We are looking forward to hearing your opinion.
